Clifford Fishwick (1923 – 1997)
Clifford Fishwick combined a busy painting career with teaching at Exeter College of Art. Appointed Painting Master there in 1947, he was Principal from 1958 until he retired in 1984, and continued living nearby at Topsham, Devon until his death.
He was born near Accrington, Lancashire, and attended Liverpool School of Art, 1940-
