Amanda Ward (b. 1951)

 

Painter and illustrator, she studied at Farnham School of Art under Harold Cheeseman and Brian Ingham during the late 1960’s. Since then she has worked regularly, not only with her paintings but as an illustrator and bookjacket designer, her work often being reproduced in magazines such as Cosmopolitan (1983-94), The Radio Times, and The Economist.

 

She has shown in numerous group exhibitions including Smiths Gallery (Covent Garden), Pelter Sands (Bristol), Cork Street Gallery (London), Peter Breughal Gallery (Amsterdam) and at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition on several occasions.

 

Among the companies who have commissioned her work are The Body Shop, Barclays Bank, BT, Boots, Unilever, and many more.
